Here's How You Get Here

There are lots of options for direct [non-stop] flights into San José Del Cabo.  Los Cabos International [SJD] is a mid-sized airport based in San José Del Cabo, Mexico. You can fly from 40 destinations with 14 airlines on scheduled passenger airliners.

Once you land, plan on about an hour to de-plane, pass through immigration, collect baggage and then one last customs check. Leaving this area brings you through a hallway with lots of timeshare sales staff… just keep walking and saying “Hola, no gracias!”  From the hallway you will exit into the last section of the airport arrivals area and then turn right out the doors to the taxi and rental car shuttle area. Your best bet is to rent a car for your stay at Sal y Sol and we can provide a few great suggestions. Taking a taxi or shuttle is expensive and you will probably want transportation while staying in El Pescadero. 

Your drive time from the airport to Sal y Sol is approximately one hour. Leaving the airport, take the toll road north towards Highway 19 / Todos Santos.  Have a few small bills in Mexican Pesos or US Dollars to pay the toll which is around 80 MXN - 100 MXN [equivalent to $3.50 - $5 USD]. When entering your destination into your GPS, if Sal y Sol Baja doesn't pop up automatically, copy and paste the below coordinates into your map app - Google is recommended. Otherwise, try to find 'El Pescadero, BCS' or 'Minisuper Munchies' which is a landmark on our street, very close to Sal y Sol. 

You will follow Highway 19 for approximately 45 minutes until you drive straight into El Pescadero, just past Cerritos Beach. The left turn you wish to take is known here as 'Baja Beans Road' if you ask for directions. Just as you enter town, look for a number of signs including a large one on the left that says 'Baja Beans' and turn left onto the unpaved dirt road. Follow this bumpy road slowly as big clouds of dust are not appreciated by our neighbors and farms. 

At 1.0 mile, you will see several small, signed landmarks... 'El Perdido Desert Resort' on the left, then 'Besos de Mezcal' on the right and finally, 'Pueblo Pescadero' on the left.  

At about 1.1 miles, take the last right and continue .5 mile straight past the entrance to Rancho Pescadero and a long metal wall up a small hill. On a power pole you will see a lot of signs including 'Minisuper Munchies' and an arrow to turn left... but DO NOT turn left here, continue a hundred feet and bear RIGHT. In just a moment on your right, you will see the Sal y Sol Casita Uno Gate, or continue a few yards farther for the Casa Principal Gate. YOU ARE HOME!
